Shoulder pain is a major cause of performance limitation in overhead sports, significantly impacting strength, motor control, and the ability to perform high-speed technical maneuvers. Returning to full performance requires a multidimensional approach that integrates functional assessment, load management, strength and conditioning interventions, and objective progression criteria. This course offers a practical, evidence-informed framework to guide athletes toward full performance recovery, including readiness criteria, decision-making tests, and recurrence prevention strategies. Topics such as GIRD (internal rotation deficits) will be addressed, as well as strategies for reducing strength deficits, perspectives on scapular dyskinesis, and intervention strategies for addressing RFD deficits. Dynamometers will also be used to collect objective data.
