The workshop "From Diagnosis to Hands-On Therapy" is a practical course that demonstrates how to begin with patient assessment and progress to the most appropriate treatment choice through various models of clinical reasoning. The workshop will analyze key decision-making parameters: the patient's clinical needs, medical history, imaging, location and type of pain, relating them to the tissues involved, the current state of scientific evidence, the physiotherapist's clinical experience, and the patient's preferences.
The course highlights how, in physiotherapy, there can be various effective therapeutic approaches, while also recognizing their limitations and overlaps with the placebo effect.
The core of the workshop is purely practical, with four hands-on sections dedicated to:
