Sacroiliac pain, also known as posterior pelvic girdle pain, is a significant problem with a multifactorial etiology that affects a large segment of the population. This video course, led by Professor Jennifer Stone, a world-leading expert in pelvic girdle issues, examines assessment and treatment strategies based on the latest scientific studies in the literature.
Functional assessment and differential diagnosis will be explored to correctly classify pelvic girdle pain and design the most effective rehabilitation treatment.
In addition to the musculoskeletal anatomy of the area, the instructor will guide the students through the various differential tests, triggers, and test batteries related to the management of this condition, based on the latest scientific evidence. Finally, we will analyze manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and possible ergonomic solutions useful for patients suffering from sacroiliac pain.
The course is enhanced by the inclusion of a comprehensive section taught by Professor Filippo Zanella, demonstrating the practical execution of special diagnostic tests and explaining how to interpret the results to establish the correct manual therapy and exercise plan.
